Lindy is excited to be part of Out Of The Box’s productions after years away from acting.She brings a wide range of experience from tv, screen, and theater work, including professional work in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver, and elsewhere. Lindy holds a BA in Theater Arts (Acting) and Musical Theater from San Jose State University. Lindy Performed in OOTB 2024 production of Always A Bridesmaid and the 2025 One Act Play Festival.

Darlene is one of the founding members of Out of the Box Entertainment. She has acted in many productions, including Trouble at the Tropicabana (Rosita) and Polter-Heist (Madame Zelda). She holds both a Master of Arts degree and a Master of Science degree, as well as a Ph.D.  She is a member of the musical group, Popeye Rose Social Club, in which she sings and plays bass guitar. Doctor Dar is the group leader for the local Welcome Home Veterans Quilts of Valor group, which has awarded over 325 quilts to local veterans. She is excited to be a part of No Laughing Matter and feels so fortunate to share the stage with such a talented cast, who are led by an amazing director.

Andrew Sorg is a passionate performer with standout roles in musical theatre, including Dr. Frederick Frankenstein in Young Frankenstein, Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, and The Prince in Into the Woods. With a dynamic stage presence and a love for bringing characters to life, Andrew Sorg continues to captivate audiences with his talent and dedication to the craft.  

Beyond the stage, he is deeply involved in the theatre community, co-founder and President of the Lake Pend O'reille Repertory Theatre. His commitment to storytelling and performance extends beyond acting, fostering opportunities for others to engage with the magic of live theatre. 

Brian has been involved with community theater for the past six years and is a founding member of Out of the Box Entertainment. He started acting, then pursued directing and producing. He has begun to take on smaller roles that require less memorization, and directing and producing have mostly satisfied his desire to actively participate in live theater shows. He enjoys acting in and directing Out of the Box Entertainment Radio Shows and also the One Act Play Festival. He has been a mentor to aspiring actors to grow their talents on stage in these productions.

Beth and her family moved to Newport a year and a half ago, and they love it here. Since moving here, she has been active with the Northwood Singers and Out of the Box Entertainment. She recently portrayed Libby Ruth in the play Always a Bridesmaid and Dana Skullery in Polter-Heist.She was also in the 2025  One Act Play Festival. Beth has 6 children and 13 grandchildren. She was active in the military for 13 years and considered a veteran of a Foreign War. She looks forward to entertaining audiences in future productions.

Professional career consisted of a performance in the Mojave High School's rendition of Charlie's Aunt 47 years ago. Yep, that's it! Otherwise I love to participate in skits in church whenever I'm allowed and count those among my greatest joys.
